If we love a song that’s not on your list - will you learn it?
Yes! Absolutely! If a song means something to you, it belongs at your wedding! I'll learn it, and for any of those important moments, I'll rearrange it so it fits perfectly.
What if you get sick?
It's rare, but life happens. Sound Honey represents some of the BEST musicians in Melbourne. Same standard, same vibe, same care. Your day is always covered.
How far in advance should we book?
Popular dates (especially Fridays/Saturdays) can book out 12–18 months ahead. That said - if you’re planning things closer to the date, still reach out. Sometimes the stars align.
Do you bring all your own equipment?
Yep - I’m fully self-contained with professional sound equipment for both live music and DJing.
That includes full wireless battery-powered setups for outdoor or off-grid ceremonies/canapés, so we’re not relying on power points in paddocks or behind trees.
Can we customise a package?
Definitely. Every wedding is different!
If your day doesn’t quite fit a package as-is, we’ll shape something that does.
Can we chat before booking?
Of course! If you want to talk things through, ask questions, or make sure we’re a good fit, I’m always happy to chat on the phone or Zoom. I know how many decisions you’re juggling - and how important it is to feel confident in the ones you make.
Do you travel?
Yes - I play weddings all over Victoria and beyond. The closest wedding I've done is 4 minutes from my house, the furthest is Queenstown, NZ. Travel details are just something we’ll factor into your quote depending on location (and how far the snacks need to come).
Are you a live musician and a DJ, or is that two separate people?
Just me! I sing and play live acoustic, and I DJ your reception set. One person who does both, which keeps the day cohesive, simple to coordinate and easier on the budget.
Do you DO both the ceremony and the reception?
Yes! I'm one artist for the whole day. Live acoustic guitar and vocals for your ceremony and canapés, then I switch to DJ (and MC if you'd like) for the reception. No awkward handover between vendors, just one seamless soundtrack from your walk down the aisle to the last song.
